The Pope has died

I came in from mowing a few minutes ago, to learn that Pope Francis is gone. He was a good Pope and a great man, who moved the church too fast for some and to slow for others. To me, it seemed he worked as quickly as men and institutions would allow. More importantly he embrace in love, all people regardless of their beliefs or lifestyles. He condemned greed, cruelty and violence but prayed for those who committed such sins. He was a complex, learned man who didn't fear simplicity.

I don't know if we deserved him. Fortunately, the Holy Spirit thought we did.
